The Institute has a unique advisory system wherein each class (section wise) is assigned to an advisor who is a
member of the faculty. Due care is taken that each faculty has not more than 20 students so that personalized
attention can be given to the students. The advisors meet all the students periodically (once in a month) to brief
them about important issues arising from time to time. In case, any student has any problem or is facing any
challenge either on the academic, social or personal front, she is advised and is welcome to approach the
allotted advisor. In addition, if any student has to take leave for medical or any other unavoidable reason, their
leave applications need to be countersigned by the advisor before being submitted in office. The medical
certificate of the student, if any, also needs to be deposited with the advisor. The students are encouraged to
take full advantage of this advisory system.
